From a current WIP and I didn't have to find a clever way to write it in this time—although that actually does push me to write more and be more inventive when I do, so.... Anyways here's the share:


The set-up is impressive. Dean can’t quite accept at face value that it works the way Ash described but he opts for a placating nod in the hopes he’s one step closer to getting the job.

“All righty, then. I’m gonna take myself and this sweet do—” Ash tosses his head like the women in shampoo commercials.

Dean tries not to gawk at Ash’s obvious pride in his mullet.

“—come on, man, you know it’s the perfect look: all business up front; party in the back.”

“Whatever you say, Ash. Where’s the eight track?”

I always get excited when Ash shows up in a fic because he's just such a delight. Can't wait to see where you're going with this!
